I'm in my mid-twenties and have been living in Germany since I finished high school. At the time I didn't think it was a very big step to move thousands of miles away from all the family and friends I had and in retrospect it totally was. However I'm so glad I made that leap of faith because my life here has been wonderful and exciting and hard and so much more then I ever could have wished for. Of course I miss my mom most of all and the family and friends that I left behind but every year it gets a little bit easier in some ways as I make new friends here, raise my son, and put down roots with my husband.
Hetta Hoo is a blog that focuses on family and all that comes with it. It is a place for me to vent, and chat about things which can cause my husband to cringe with disinterest and also for me to delve more deeply into topics which I might normally just brush the surface of.
